The drop in temperature over the last few days made it a hard match

STROUD’s last outing before the winter break was the Christmas match at Harescombe Fisheries.
This was a very hard match because of the drop in temperature over the last few days, but didn’t stop Jason Powell who weighed in 23 lb 12 oz of small carp, all caught on the pole with maggot on the hook.
Most of the fish were caught in the margins.
Results
1st: Jason Powell, 23 lb 12 oz of small carp
2nd: Richard Powell, 13 lb of small carp.
3rd: Bob Phillips, 12 lb 8 oz of small carp.
4th: Andy Pollard and Rob Kerslake, 10 lb of small carp.
Section One winner: Barry Mole, 9 lb 10 oz.
Section Two winner: Dave Clinch, 9 lb 4 oz.
