VICTORIA PENDLETON, Olympic gold-medal-winning cyclist turned amateur National Hunt jockey, could prove one of the top draws at the Heythrop Point-to-Point meeting to be held at Cocklebarrow Races near Aldsworth on Sunday.
Pendleton has made an entry in the the PPORA Club Members event for novice riders.
Former track cycling star Pendleton achieved her dream of riding in the Foxhunter Chase at the 2016 Cheltenham Festival, and surprised the doubters by riding an excellent race to finish fifth on the Paul Nicholls-trained Pacha Du Polder.
She described the result as "probably the greatest achievement of my life".
