SLIMBRIDGE manager Freddy Ward has moved to strengthen his squad for the end of season run-in by signing a new goalkeeper.
The Swans have received international clearance for the two month loan of goalkeeper Marcus Beauchamp from Newport County.
The 19-year-old stopper signed for Newport in August, and is a former Norwich City Academy Scholar.
He won the 2014-15 Barclays Under 18s Premier League ‘Save of the season’ award while with the Canaries.
Ward said: 'I'm glad to have Marcus on board, he's been getting some good reviews, and I'm hoping he will come in and give us something we've been missing.'
Beauchamp goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s trip to Evesham United (3pm)
