BOSS Mark Cooper remains coy on Forest Green’s title chances.

His side remain firmly in the title hunt after an imperious victory over Wrexham last Saturday saw Cooper’s men move level on points with leaders Lincoln City, who they travel to face this Saturday lunchtime.

However, The Imps remain top on goal difference, having played three games less than Cooper's side.

Rovers welcome Solihull tonight and City travel to Boreham Wood, but Cooper is still taking it game-by-game as the season reaches a thrilling climax.

“The only thing that matters is April 29th and being there then,” said an erudite Cooper. “As boring as it sounds, we’re taking it game-by-game.”

Cooper was delighted with Rovers’ 3-0 victory over Wrexham, which catapulted his team back to the top.

“We always looked in control and could have gone on and scored a couple more and it was the first time sat there in the second-half we looked relatively comfortable, thinking we’re going to win this game.”

However, Rovers were dealt a hammer blow Rovers were dealt a hammer blow on 16 minutes as they lost key defender Ethan Pinnock in a potential season-ending injury after he went down clutching his left knee, following an aerial tussle with Jordan White.

Cooper said: “He has got a knee injury, which doesn’t look particularly good. We will have to have it scanned this week, but first impressions are that it won’t be a short period of time that he will be out.”

Rovers could welcome back Keanu Marsh-Brown (thigh) for tonight's game. A victory would see Rovers post five successive home wins.
