Frocester opened their season with a crushing nine-wicket victory over Pershore in the first round of the Royal London National Club KO.
Pershore batted first and make a quick start with 50 runs coming from the first six overs, but once captain Nick Trainor dismissed Miles, well caught by Quereshi for 18, the visitors soon stumbled, particularly in the face of some excellent Frocester fielding which brought three run outs.
Sam Birch and Dan Cave each picked up two wickets as Pershore crumbled to 124 all-out in 38 overs.
In reply, Louis Gegg and Quereshi were untroubled in strolling to 117 in 20 overs, before Gegg was caught for 64, with Quereshi, unbeaten on 49, taking Frocester to victory in the 22nd over.
Frocester are now at home to Cardiff on Sunday, May 14, after Corsham conceded, unable to raise a team.
