A new 'ABBA' system, which mirrors the format of a tie break in tennis, will be used in the Carabao Cup, Checkatrade Trophy and Play-Offs.

Teams taking the first kick in each pair of attempts alternate - AB BA AB BA and so on in-stead of AB AB AB AB
