FOOTBALL: Serious injury causes Frampton United match to be abandoned seconds after kick-off
The Gloucestershire County League game between Henbury and Frampton United was abandoned when United's Ryan McDonald received a serious injury after just 24 seconds.
A County League spokesman said: "The referee waited until half-time, but the ambulance had not arrived and then called the game off.
"The emergency services had advised that the player should not be moved until they arrived."
