FORMER Forest Green boss Ady Pennock has left Gillingham by mutual consent.
Pennock won only one of his first nine league games in charge this season - 1-0 at home to Charlton - and departs with the Gills sitting 22nd in League One.
Assistant manager Jamie Day, who worked with Pennock at Forest Green, also departs the Gills.
The club said: "Ady Pennock has left Gillingham Football Club by mutual consent.
"The Head Coach, along with Jamie Day, have both left their roles at Priestfield Stadium.
"The club would like to thank both Ady and Jamie for their services and we wish them well for the future."
