Chastened by stinging criticism, Forest Green manager Mark Cooper believes his side are now giving the fans something to shout about.
A 2-0 win over Morecambe afforded Rovers their first home win since August and ended a five-game losing sequence at the New Lawn as Cooper's side made it three victories in a row.
Cooper said: "We have given them (the fans) something to support," said Cooper. "You can't be 4-0 down at home and expect the fans to be clapping and cheering you - some of the abuse is wrong - too much, but that's football fans and I understand that, but they were really good today, but we have to give them something for them to be good, which is how it should be."
