Stonehouse Town 3 Frampton United 3

THE derby day spoils were shared in a six-goal thriller at Oldends Lane.

Stonehouse took the lead on 30 minutes. Liam Gale's was handled but it fell to Adam Ireland to smash the ball home.

Five minutes into the second-half Frampton drew level with a fine goal from Ryan Vincent. However, three minutes later Gale was brought down on the edge of the Frampton box then got up took the free-kick and smashed it into the Frampton net.

The visitors levelled again on 79 minutes when Jonathan Lewis headed home at the near post. Just minutes later Gale burst into the Frampton box was brought down for a penalty. Ireland who had opened the scoring for Town took the kick and buried into the corner to make it 3-2.

But Frampton hit back once more and Manolo Marquez Espada levelled from a corner.

The home side then had two late chances to take the points first Warren Mann missed an open goal and then Luke Soule did exactly the same in time added on.
