TWO teams representing Minchinhampton U13s ran in 17 tries between them in the County Waterfall tournament.

Playing against Dursley, the Appaches team built on an early Tomas Pressey try to win by eight tries to four.

The forward pack of Ollie Wood, Tom Smith, Mackenzie Smith, Pressey, Harrison Powell, Cameron Blaxill and Rohaan Kayum secured plenty of ball for the backs.

Half backs Wilf Mylechreest and James Harwanko distributed the ball cleanly to the backline of Ruari Fryer, Archie Powis, Charlie Wigglesworth, Charlie Mead, Archie Sutherland-Dean and Luc Dangerfield who ran with pace to find gaps in the Dursley defence.

Meanwhile at home, the Braves team of Jonny McLaughlan, Jacob Lee, Ollie Parker, Jack Ordway-Hughes, George Biddlecombe, Jonty O’Leary, Alex Willday, Beau Brayman, Joe, Ioan Jones, Josh Webb, Ben Blossett, Theo Crabb-Lahei and Sam Grimsted were more than a match for a strong Old Pats team whom they held to a thrilling draw, with nine tries apiece.
