BOURTON 10k sold out like hot cakes.
Entries went live at 7am last Friday and by 7.37am, all 650 entries were taken by enthusiastic runners keen to run the fast, flat race on rural roads in Bourton on the Water.
Race Director, Ian Shoemark, is surprised and delighted. “We know our race is popular, but I didn’t think selling out within an hour was possible,” he said.
“We also have more than 250 people on our waiting list, which shows the level of interest in the Bourton 10k.”
The race, which is sponsored by Highbridge Jewellers, takes place at 10.30am on Sunday 25th February 2018.
This time, Bourton Roadrunners will be supporting the Sam Pilcher Trust - Caring for Children with Cancer. The trust concentrates on helping young patients during and after treatment at the Gloucester Royal and Bristol Royal Children’s Hospitals.
Further information about the Bourton 10k is available on the Bourton Roadrunners website.
