FOREST GREEN manager Mark Cooper is set to agree deals with three new faces, the SNJ understands.
The unamed players will join the club on January 2 and will be available to face resurgent Port Vale at The New Lawn on January 8. Rovers have already added non-league starlet Dayle Grubb, who is set for his Weston farewell on Boxing Day.
With three straight league defeats, Rovers remain rooted to the bottom of the table going into their Boxing Day clash at third-place Exeter City and Cooper is keen to get December out of the way, he said: "We're treading water until January - we need some recruits desperately. I told the players they are not making it hard for me to replace them in January."
Rovers travel to their old National League rivals Lincoln City on Saturday, who have made a bright start to their return to the Football League, sitting in sixth position in the table. Rovers start 2018 with the visit of fifth-place Wycombe on New Year's Day.
