Boss Mark Cooper wants to build a one-man dugout to keep an eye on Forest Green flyer Dan Wishart.

Inauspicious during the opening 45 minutes against Stevenage on Tuesday night, Wishart was given a half-time managerial rocket. And with a flea in his ear, he manufactured an eye-catching second-half cameo - conjuring a goal for Farrend Rawson, helping Rovers to an essential 3-1 victory.

Cooper revealed: “I told him I’m going to build a dugout on the far side, so I can shout at him when he plays over there, because when he plays on this side he does very well and he needs that coaxing to get him going.”

“First-half he never had a kick and at half-time I told him if he did not push the ball first time into the corner and cross it, he was going to be in trouble, but he did and we scored a goal from it. He has to do that more consistently, because he has the ability to do it."
