FORMER Liverpool keeper and Forest Green fan Jamie Stephens could be on manager Mark Cooper's transfer radar.
Rovers are in the market for three goalkeepers after Brad Collins returned to Chelsea. Cooper's New Lawn keeper clearout saw Sam Russell, Cameron Belford and Harry Pickering axed, leaving just academy goalie Declan Lehmann on the books.
Stephens,24, recently left Barnet following their relegation to the National League.
Born in Wotton-under-Edge, Stephens kicked-off his youth career with boyhood club Forest Green, but moved to Swindon Town, where he was offered a scholarship.
Premier League Liverpool came in for the teenage stopper and he penned his first pro deal at Anfield at 17, training alongside Pepe Reina.
He later moved to Newport County for two years, spending time on loan at Gloucester City before joining Barnet in 2015.
