Chief Executive Helen Taylor will be leaving Forest Green Rovers at the end of July.

Taylor took the role in June 2017 and successfully guided the off-the-pitch activities at the club through their first season in the English Football League.

She will continue working with Rovers and Ecotricity on projects in the sustainability space.

Taylor has worked in several roles at Ecotricity for chairman, Dale Vince since 2010.

As the operational leader of non-footballing activities at the club, Taylor's team oversaw the challenges of moving into the football league, seeing attendances rise 60% for home games and supporting the Academy in developing from a standing start to prestigious CAT3 status in just one year.

Chairman Dale Vince said: “It’s been a real pleasure working with Helen, and I can’t believe it’s been nearly ten years. We’ve achieved a lot together. After being part of the team for so long, we’ll all definitely miss her, but at the same time we look forward to working together on some interesting new projects, and I wish her every success with her new adventure.”

Helen Taylor, Chief Executive of Forest Green Rovers, added: “I’d like to thank Dale for the amazing opportunity. Leading operations for FGR during our first league season was a lot of fun, and a great learning curve.

“I’ve decided to work for myself in the sustainability world, which is my big passion, and I very much look forward to continuing my relationship with the club and Ecotricity in this space. My team, fans, sponsors, Mark Cooper and the squad gave me so much support at Rovers so here’s to the club’s continued success on and off the pitch.”
