Forest Green Rovers will play Arsenal under 21s in the Checkatrade trophy.
Rovers, who are in a group E with Cheltenham Town and Coventry City, will come up against a Gunners side managed by former defender and World Cup winner Per Mertesacker.
Arsenal's young squad include's the likes of Eddie Nketiah, who scored a brace against Norwich City in the Carabao Cup last season as well as Cohen Bramall, Reiss Nelson and Joe Willock who have all featured for the first team.
The Checkatrade Trophy gets underway the week commencing September 3.
