Forest Green twice came from behind in their latest pre-season friendly at Swindon Supermarine.

Goals from teenage scholar Dan Ogunleye and Scott Laird secured a 2-2 draw for Rovers in their fourth pre-season friendly.

Mark Cooper, unsurprisingly, made 11 changed to the team that lost to Leeds United last night.

Lee Collins recovered from a virus, three academy players Dan Jones, Ogunleye, Rendijs Kalnins all started while a trialist was also named from the beginining.

Forest Green got off to the worst possible start, falling behind after just eight minutes when Conor McDonagh scored with a drilled shot across goal which Lewis Thomas in the Rovers net couldn't prevent finding the bottom corner.

Cooper's men slowly grew into the game and drew level on 26 minutes when 16-year-old Ogunleye was played one on one and showed great composure to apply the finish.

In the second half, both sides had early chances but the best fell to Supermarine Brad Hooper hit a post with a half volley, a let of for Rovers.

The hosts then regained the lead in the 65th minute. Haydn Hollis gave away a free kick and Josh Parsons bent the free kick round the wall and into the corner of the net.

Rovers pressed and got their equaliser with seven minutes to go when the ball fell to Laird inside area and he finished smartly with the outside of his boot on the half volley.

Forest Green host Bristol Rovers in their next friendly at the New Lawn on Saturday.
