Painswick edged closer to the Division One title with victory over Charlton Kings. Painswick were chasing 138 and caught Charlton comfortably, finishing 142-4. They are now 11 points clear of Corse and Staunton, who moved up to second after beating Westbury-on-Severn.
In Division Three, Frocester Third XI climbed up to eighth to boost their survival hopes after a crucial victory over Frampton on Severn as they successfully caught Frampton 140, finishing 141-7.
Birdlip and Brimpsfield are champions of Division Five. They scored 222-7 which was too much for Gloucester AIW Sports Second XI. Elsewhere, Minchinhampton lost to Sheepscombe and Bisley.
Minch batted first and finished 176-10 but Sheepscombe overhauled them and scored 180-9.
In Division six, Stroud were dominant in their win over Kingsholm. Stroud finished 227-6 and Kingsholm could only muster 151.
Elsewhere, Painswick Seconds suffered yet another heavy defeat as Charlton Kings Seconds outclassed the division's bottom club with a 327-3 scoreline and they could only respond with 161-10.
