Paul Tisdale lauded Forest Green after the MK Dons boss saw his unbeaten side held to a draw.

The Dons boss felt his side were second best from start-to-finish.

With 11 minutes to go a Reuben Reid penalty, cancelled out Chuks Aneke's first-half opener.

Tisdale told the MK CITIZEN: " Forest Green played extremely well and we didn't have a great day.

“They played superbly well. But it's a point. It feels disappointing having led, but sometimes things don't feel right as a manager or player, and that one didn't feel right.

"We have to look at how Forest Green played first and work back from there.

"As much as they dominated the first-half, they created one really good chance after we scored, but we defended the box really well.”
