Higgy's call for runners

ALASTAIR HIGNELL, patron of the Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre, is looking for a hundred heroes to run the Stroud Half Marathon on Sunday, October 25th.

Higgy’s Heroes was born at the 2008 London Marathon when a group of Higgy’s friends got together to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre (MSRC).

Higgy’s Heroes ran again last year when Higgy’s family, including wife Jeannie and sons Adam and Dan, and some of Higgy’s friends chose to run the Stroud Half Marathon for the MSRC.

Last year there were 30 Higgy’s Heroes at Stroud. This year Higgy wants a hundred.

If you, or anyone you know wants to join the Heroes and raise money for a wonderful charity dedicated to making life better for those affected by this incurable and debilitating condition, please contact Higgy, Jeannie, or the MSRC.

You don’t need to be an accomplished runner, just prepared to get a bit fitter and give it a go.
