FOREST GREEN boss David Hockaday has brought keeper David Wilkinson back to the New Lawn to challenge Terry Burton for the number one spot.
Wilkinson,21, played two games earlier in the season against Ebbsfleet and Barrow when Burton was suspended and shortly after the former Crystal Palace keeper was allowed to sign for Dover Athletic to enable him to play for the Blue Square South club in the FA Cup.
Soon after Gavin Carlin joined the squad, so Rovers had more than enough cover at that time with Tom Pass. With Carlin now being injured it allows the Hockaday to bring Wilkinson back into the fold, so freeing up Tom Pass to play on a more regular basis for Darren Perrin’s Frome Town. Pass however will still be eligible to cover for Rovers FA Cup third round tie at Notts County.
