AWARD-winning coach Chris Frapwell will be playing a major role in a regional endurance workshop in Bristol on Saturday, October 2.

The Stroud and District AC coach was invited by England Athletics to join forces with Tom Watson, area coach mentor, to run the one-day course that is open to athletes and coaches from the county.

“Coaches and athletes from Gloucestershire are more than welcome to come along for what should be an interesting day,” said Frapwell.

The framework of the workshop is planning a competitive season within a long-term plan.

Frapwell will be leading sessions for road runners and, subject to availability, will be joined two-times Nailsworth Olympic marathon runner Dan Robinson.

The day at the Ashton Court Visitor Centre starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm and incorporates a training session, workshop and a question-and-an-answer session.

Anyone interested in registering should email watson@englandathletics.org.
