FOREST Green boss Dave Hockaday has snapped up former Watford midfielder Kieron Forbes from Ryman Premier League club Wealdstone for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old is set to go into the squad for today’s Blue Square Premier clash at Bath City.
Forbes made his debut for Watford against Gillingham at the age of 16 and previously played under Hockaday in the Watford Academy.
The deal also includes a sell-on clause.
Meanwhile, Steve Guinan has signed a contract for the remainder of the season and this will be implemented when his loan from Northampton Town expires on January 10.
Talks are still on-going with Adam Quinn’s parent club Crawley Town over a possible permanent move, prior to his loan expiring on January 8.
Midfielder Wayne Turk, who was on loan from Newport County, now joins Rovers on a permanent contracted basis.
