A CHANCE to meet Forest Green’s first team will be amongst the offers available to young footballers during a series of fun weeks throughout the summer holidays at the New Lawn.
Boys and girls aged between 6 and 13 of all abilities are welcome to attend the football coaching camps during July and August. They will also receive an FGR goody bag and be given a stadium tour.
Coach Scott Bartlett said: “ The fun weeks are a great way of introducing youngsters to FGR and will help continue our good work within the local community.
“Our sessions will be three days long and are a healthy way to spend time during the holidays.”
Youngsters will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their penalty shooting skills against the likes of Forest Green’s professional goalkeepers Sam Russell, Matt Bulman and Rob Brown.
They will also have their shooting talents recorded by a speed gun.
