SALLY HARVEY, 13, was awarded the Ruth Tranter Trophy for being Frampton's best junior at Frampton-on- Severn Sailing Club.
Earlier, thirty Topper sailors from across the South West took part in the Frampton on Severn Sailing Club 2008 Topper Open and SW Traveller.Conditions were perfect for the four races.
The competitors gave great displays of boatmanship and memory recall as they negotiated the challenging course set by the OOD, Ken Elsey.

All the races were fiercely contested and close with excellent and consistent performances by Richard Crumpsty and Iain Miller. Towards the back of the fleet there was no shortage of grit shown by the less experienced helms, in particular Sophie Caseldine, 11, of the Stoke Gabriel Boating Association, and 10-year-old Edward Higson, of Frampton.
