This is Annabel's first collaborative exhibition. The theme "Womb Wisdom" is a celebration of art, dreams and poetry, both her own and also involving the women of the Red Hearth community in Stroud. The Red Hearth house is a sacred retreat for women to gather and seek solitude in nature and Kesty Jakes is the founder of this local Red Tent. Annabel's work is bold, colourful and often magical and she uses both acrylics and oil pastels. The natural world, and often horses feature in her paintings as they inspire her connection to the wild feminine. There are also a series of workshops during the week relating to the womb wisdom theme. The pop up Red Tent is an opportunity for women to come and experience a sacred space that is for women only. Red Tents are a global movement of women coming together and finding time to just be where they are, meet other women in their community and enjoy the opportunity for women to share in a deeper way than they might usually do.
