Are you afraid of things that go bump in the night?

Then Frightmare at Over Farm Market might not be on the top of your list to visit this Halloween.

With ghosts, ghouls and much more rising from the dead every night, this Halloween festival boasts being the biggest and scariest event of its kind in the South West, with a whole farm of creepy tricks tucked up its sleeves.

This spooky piece of live theatre is fun by day, but once the moon is up at 7pm every night this festival transforms into a thriller event which separates the light-hearted from the horror junkies.

Screams float eerily in the air on the ascent to Frightmare as people are discovering the delights of the four main attractions: which include Séance, Fright House, Haunted Hayride and finally Panic, the award-winning attraction which is in its final year.

Danielle Hannaford of Over Farm says that “if you’re looking for a completely different night out and lots of fun with your friends, with some scares along the way the Frightmare is for you!” Alongside the evening thrills she states that “there is a family friendly day event for children” and this year there is also a “pumpkin carving competition in aid of Cheltenham’s National Star charity”.

With lots to see and do this event is here to haunt us a little while longer, starting on October 24th, it is running until November 1st. So if you are up for some spine-tingling, toe-curling, teeth-chattering fun, then book your tickets now - that is, if you dare.
