BOOKER-winning novelist Ian McEwan will be signing copies of his latest novel in Stroud Bookshop on Monday, December 22, at 12 noon.

The Children Act, McEwan's 13th novel, is about a beleaguered high court judge, who must decide whether a teenage Jehovah’s Witness lives or dies.

McKewan, one of the biggest earning authors in Britain, and has a home in Miserden, as well as a townhouse in London.

His book Atonement was adapted for film in 2007 and starred Keira Knightly, and in 2008, The Times featured him on their list of The 50 greatest British writers since 1945.
