A CARILLON inspired concert will take place at St Swithun's Church in Leonard Stanley on Saturday at 7.30pm.
A carillon is a musical instrument that is typically housed in the bell tower of a church, using at least 23 cast bronze, cup-shaped bells, which are serially played to produce a melody, or sounded together to play a chord. The St Swithun's Bell Ringers, together with John Pennington, on the church organ, will perform an interpretation of the carillon sound. Tickets available on the door.
