Donald Carl Walker of 'Walkers the Bakers', Stroud Sadly, passed away peacefully on Friday 15th March 2019, aged 76 years. Much-loved Master Baker of Stroud. Husband, Father and Grandfather. Will be dearly missed by all his loving family and friends. Celebration of Don's life to take place at The Old Lodge, Minchinhampton on Tuesday 9th April 2019 at 12:30 p.m. Colourful attire welcomed. I'm so sorry Sally for your loss. Caroline and I were so shocked as we had only seen you and Don a few weeks ago. He was such a character and a great friend. I remember working in the bakery in 1981---- what a madhouse, shouting from Pino, much laughter, bloody hard work, but so enjoyable due to Don's strange style of management, then off to the pub for many beers and then slinking off home.
