Fly high nana, thank you for being such an amazing nan. You were so kind and generous, and we all thank you for being there for us. So much has changed since you left, I wish I could tell you everything. You were always easy to talk to, but we never really got time to talk. I remember once you taught me how to knit and I was going to make a scarf, it’s a shame we didn’t finish it, we could’ve spent a lot more time together. You were never the same when Grampy left, you were still glowing and smiling and laughing, but it felt like a part of you was absent, and it was... you missed Grampy. We all did, when Grampy died, everyone’s lives changed... it was utter shock. It was so hard to take in, this incredible man had just left us, but we all knew that you were going to be distraught, me especially. When I used to come around your house, I used to look at your mesmerising display of crystals and little figures, and I saw these glass balls with numbers on, I think one was 45 (don’t account me for this) and you told me it was how many years you and Grampy had been together. 45! That’s crazy. I heard the story of how you and Grampy met actually. You met when he was filling up his car I think, and later he got his friend to ask you out. Typical. No but all those years, and you two were so happy. I’m glad you two are happy together again. But nana, tell everyone I said hello, I miss you so much Nan, I love you 😔❤️
