IRENE JANET POWELL Formerly of Avening. Peacefully on 29th September at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, aged 83 years. Much loved Wife of the late Gerald Powell, Mum and Mum-in-Law of Brian & Jane, Janet & Paul and Tricia, Nanna of Lindsey, Elizabeth, Lee, Jamie, Daniel, Sherrie and Keira and Great-Nanna of Courtney, Ryan and Oliver. A private funeral service will take place at the Parish Church of the Holy Cross, Avening, followed by interment. Family flowers only, donations in lieu may be sent for (and made payable to) Cancer Research UK c/o Fred Stevens Funeral Directors, Newmarket Road, Nailsworth.
