TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF 3/327 HIGH STREET (BERKELEY TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of 3/327 High Street from its junction with Canonbury Street to its junction with Jumpers Lane for a distance of approximately 300 metres. The reason for the closure is for footway resurfacing The road is expected to be closed and restricted on 21st October 2019 until 29th November 2019 only or until the works have been completed. There will be no parking or waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works.
Alternative Route - As signed on site Pedestrian and Emergency access to premises on or next to
the road will be maintained.

PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH CKD 31) (PARISH OF KINGSWOOD) ORDER 2018
On the 3rd October 2019 the Secretary of State confirmed the above Order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act, 1980, and Section 53(a)(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act, 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert a length of public footpath CKD 31 as described in Part I of the Schedule to the line described in Part II of the said Schedule and the Definitive Map and Statement will be modified accordingly A copy of the Order as confirmed and plan annexed to the Order ('the Order Plan') may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester, GL1 2TG and Stroud District Council, Ebley Mill, Stroud, GL5 4UB Copies of the Order and Order Plan may be obtained. The Order came into force on the 3rd October 2019 but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the power of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirements of the Act, or of any regulations made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 of the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from the date on which notice is first published, apply to the High Court.
