NOTICE OF A PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER UNDER SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14 OF THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

STROUD DISTRICT COUNCIL EASTINGTON FOOTPATHS 17,24, 25, 26 AND 27 SECTION 257 DIVERSION ORDER 2019 (Order) On the 21st November 2019 Stroud District Council confirmed the Order.

1. The effect of the Order will be to divert the following sections of the public footpaths:



a) Eastington Footpath 17 situated between points I (OS Grid Reference SO 79174, 06491) and J (OS Grid Reference SO 79291, 06393) marked on the Order plan by a solid yellow line which measures approximately 185 metres long and unknown width



b) Eastington Footpath 24 situated between points A (OS Grid Reference SO 79003, 06454) and B (OS Grid Reference SO 79086, 06250) marked on the Order plan by a solid red line which measures approximately 210 metres long and unknown width



c) Eastington Footpath 25 situated between points D (OS Grid Reference SO 79156, 06488) and C (OS Grid Reference SO 79087, 06346) marked on the Order plan by a solid orange line which measures approximately 190 metres long and unknown width



d) Eastington Footpath 26 situated between points E (OS Grid Reference SO 79151,06394) and G (OS Grid Reference SO 79196, 06274) marked on the Order plan by a solid pink line which measures approximately 90 metres long and unknown width



e) Eastington Footpath 27 situated between points K (OS Grid Reference SO 79239, 06394) and L (OS Grid Reference SO 79050, 06402) marked on the Order plan by a solid blue line which measures approximately 180 metres long and unknown width



2. They shall be diverted to:



a) Eastington Footpath 17 situated between points I (OS Grid Reference SO 79174, 06491) and J (OS Grid Reference SO 79291, 06393) marked on the Order plan by a broken yellow line which measures approximately 250 metres long and 2 metres in width



b) Eastington Footpath 24 situated between points A (OS Grid Reference SO 79003, 06454) and B (OS Grid Reference SO 79086, 06250) marked on the Order plan by a broken red line which measures approximately 250 metres long and 3 metres in width



c) Eastington Footpath 25 situated between points D (OS Grid Reference SO 79156, 06488), F (OS Grid Reference SO 79082, 06468) and E (OS Grid Reference SO 79151, 06394) marked on the Order plan by a broken orange line which measures approximately 200 metres long and 2 metres in width



d) Eastington Footpath 26 situated between points E (OS Grid Reference SO 79151,06394) and H (OS Grid Reference SO 79224. 06305) marked on the Order plan by a broken pink line which measures approximately 95 metres long and 3 metres in width



e) Eastington Footpath 27 situated between points K (OS Grid Reference SO 79239, 06394) and B (OS Grid Reference SO 79086, 06250) marked on the Order plan by a broken blue line which measures approximately 240 metres long, 2 metres in width for 234 metres and 3 metres in width for the remaining 6 metres length



3. A copy of the Order and plan (reference Eastington Footpaths 17, 24, 25, 26 and 27 Section 257 Diversion Order 2019) may be inspected free of charge at the Council Offices at Stroud District Council, Ebley Mill, Ebley Wharf, Stroud, GL5 4UB between the hours of 8.45am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am to 4.30pm Fridays (excluding bank holidays and public holidays). Copies of the order and plan may be obtained there at the price of £10.



4. This Order was confirmed on the 21st November 2019 but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the TCPA 1990, or on the ground that any requirement of the TCPA 1990 has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, they may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under Section 287 of the TCPA 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to the TCPA 1990.
