Notice of Making (The Whiteway Car Park) (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2020 (Variation No. 1) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that on 1st March 2022 Cotswold District Council made the above Order under section 32, 35, 35C and Schedule 9 (Part IV) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales] Regulations 1996 and all other enabling powers and after consulting with the Chief Officer of Police. The effect of the Order will be to further vary the Cotswold District Council (The Whiteway Car Park) (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2020 as follows:-
1. Fee Variation Proposals: To vary the schedule to Order
To vary the schedule to Order
to effect the following variations: a) reduce the annual season ticket fee for the Whiteway car park
to reflect the fact that it can only be used Monday to Friday; a) i ntroduce three month and six month season tickets in line
with all other season tickets - See proposals below:

2. Electric Vehicle Variation: Introduce and enforce additional
Introduce and enforce additional
electrical vehicle charging bays within the car park. The order will otherwise remain in in full force and effect.
This variation order will come into effect 4th April 2022 A copy of the Order may be obtained free of charge by telephoning Customer Services on 01285 623000 between 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and online at

If any person wishes to question the validity of the order or that of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
