Section 14(1) and Section 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer repair works: Ingram Street, Malmesbury; from its junction with B4042 High Street to its junction with Silver Street; and to temporarily suspend the existing One-Way Order on Cross Hayes/St. Dennis Road to enable the roads to be used as an alternative route; and to temporarily suspend the existing Prohibition of Entry Order on Cross Hayes Lane entering Silver Street to enable the roads to be used as an alternative route. Alternative route via B4042 High Street - St. Dennis Road/Cross Hayes - Silver Street and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 8 January 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 12 January 2018. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Swans Bottom (Part)/Byway 36 (Part), Ramsbury; for a distance of approximately 50m adjacent to the property 'Cygnets' to enable Thames Water to install a fire hydrant. Alternative route via Swans Bottom (unaffected length) - Crowood Lane - Oxford Street - Chapel Lane - Swans Bottom (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 8 January 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 12 January 2018. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Accesswill be maintained forresidentsand businesseswhere possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order for Swans Bottom will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Foxley Road (Part), Malmesbury and Malmesbury Without; from its junction with Common Road to its junction with Dark Lane to enable BT Openreach to clear blockages in existing duct track in carriageway. Alternative route via Common Road - A429 - B4042 High Street - B4040 Gloucester Street/Abbey Row/The Triangle/Bristol Street - Dark Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 29 January 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 31 January 2018. This Order will come into operation on 29 January 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30 until 16 February 2018. This Order will come into operation on 29 January 2018 and it is anticipated that the closures will be required until 10 April 2018. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (e) Baskerville (Part), Malmesbury; from its junction with St. John's Street for a distance of approximately 120m in an easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to undertake new connection works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 8 January 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for three days. This Order will come into operation on 9 January 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 11 January2018. Alternative route via Breach Lane (unaffected length) - Bushton - The Barton - Thornhill - Bushton Road - Marlborough Road - Station Road - New Road - A3102 Bath Road/HuntsMill Road and vice versa. ThisOrder will come into operation on 8 January2018 and itisanticipated thatthe closure will berequired until 23 February2018.
