Rock and a Hard Place - a new play from Journeymen Theatre
IN AID OF STROUD WOMEN’S REFUGE

Kayleigh is a talented teenager whose life should be full of promise. Instead, she finds herself in a cycle of domestic abuse from which there seems no escape until Auntie Jan helps her find a way out.

Thoroughly researched from real life experiences, this new play vividly illustrates the spectrum of violence in the home, from the mind games of coercive control to the violence of murder. Whilst the topic is sombre, the play is lively and entertaining, as well as thought provoking.
