JAZZ cabaret quartet Misbehavin’ are set to give a concert in Stroud this week.

The Dorset based four-piece will be performing an eclectic blend of songs and instrumental numbers at the Lansdown Hall on Friday at 7.30pm.

The first half of the programme will feature jazz standards such as Sunday Kind of Love and Time After Time, as well as songs by Leonard Cohen and Abbey Lincoln.

The second half is dedicated to Time Piece, a new set of songs and instrumentals by the band exploring the mercurial qualities of time.

In 2015 the band performed the project to sell out audiences at Salisbury and Shaftesbury Arts Centres, village halls and venues in Dorset, Somerset and Cornwall, and now present it for the first time in Stroud.

Misbehavin' features Helen Porter on vocals, Karen Wimhurst on clarinets, rhythm guitarist Robin Walter and double bassist James Budden.

Tickets are available at £10 in advance (£12 on door) from the Sub Rooms (01453 760960).
