Firework displays and bonfire night events will be lighting up the skies of the Cotswolds in the coming days.

Our round-up will give you the best and the brightest options across Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, from the annual Cirencester event organised by the local Round Table, to smaller events taking part in villages near you.

So pull on the hats and gloves and take the family to your local display.

Cirencester

CIRENCESTER Round Table Fireworks on Saturday, November 4 at Victoria Road Playing Field,Victoria Road, Cirencester.

A highlight on the town’s annual calendar, Cirencester Round Table will once again be hosting a fantastic fireworks show, with a dazzling display and exciting activities promising fun for the whole family.

Gates open at 5pm. Admission: £7 in advance, £8 on the gate; £4 in advance and £5 on the gate for concessions; and are free of charge for under fives.

Advance tickets can be bought from the Tourist Information Office, Walter Bull, Moore Allen & Innocent, Londis South Cerney, and Chesterton Pharmacy.

  • Stratton

FIREWORKS Display at Stratton School, Thessaly Road, Stratton, Cirencester on Saturday, November 4. 6.15pm - 7pm. Gates open at 5.30pm. Tickets on sale from School Office and Stratton Stores

  • Coates

BONFIRE Night at Coates village hall on Saturday, November 4 from 5pm until late. Bar and food available. Children’s ‘Guy’ competition. Donations towards fireworks are welcome.

  • Fairford

FAIRFORD Fireworks is on Saturday, November 4 at The Park, Fairford. Gates open at 5pm, bonfire lit at 5.30pm and fireworks show starts at 6pm.

Tickets are £5 (children £4), family tickets (2 adults + 3 children) £15, available from Fairford Primary School; Ridgeway Estate Agents, 7a Coffee Shop; Lynwood Coffee Shop and The Coffee Post.

Refreshments available. Please do not bring your own fireworks or sparklers.

  • Sherston

THE bonfire night and fireworks extravaganza takes place on Saturday, November 4 from 6.30pm at Lower Farm. Tickets on entry cost £6 adult and £3.50 child. Advance family tickets are £15 for two adults and three children, available from Sherston Post Office Stores.

There will be a barbecue, bar and hot drinks. Help to build the bonfire during the morning is welcome and any combustible material can be taken to Lower Farm prior to the event.

  • Northleach

FAR Peak will be hosting bonfire and fireworks on Friday, November 3 between 6pm – 8pm. Gates open at 5.30pm for free parking.

Tickets can be purchased online Adults £5 (over 16s) and children £3 (age 3-15).

Tickets purchased at the gate will be £7 and £5.

  • Hazelton

BONFIRE and fireworks on Saturday, November 4 at Hazelton Village Hall. The gates open at 6pm and the fireworks start at 7pm. There will be a bar and hog roast during the event. Adult tickets cost £5, under 16s are £3 and under 5s are free.

  • Tetbury

THE Tetbury Firework Display will be on Saturday, November 4, organised by the Rotary Club South Cotswolds, at Sir William Romney’s School, Lowfield Road, GL8 8BA.

Gates open 6pm, “Best Guy” competition is judged at 6.30pm.

  • Malmesbury

ANNUAL fireworks and bonfire display will be at St Aldhelm’s Mead from 6-8pm on Saturday, November 4. Adults £5, children £2, family ticket for up to three children £12.

  • Cricklade

THE Grand Cricklade Fireworks Display takes place at Abingdon Court Lane on Friday, November 3. Advance tickets: family £12, adults £5, children and seniors £3; on the gate £8/£5.

  • Ashton Keynes

FIREWORK Display on Saturday, November 4 at Bradstone Field. From 4.30pm. Fireworks at 6.30pm. A fundraiser for Ashton Keynes Primary School.

Tickets in advance from the Village Shop or CB Slade. £17 family. £6 adult, £4 child, under 3’s go free. On the gate tickets £8 adult, £6 child, £20 family.

  • Stow-on-the-Wold

BONFIRE and Fireworks display at QEII Field (cricket ground), on Friday, November 3.

From 6pm. Pig roast, bar, candy floss, children’s rides and more. Admission free.
