HUSBAND and wife folk duo, Harbottle & Jonas, will be making an appearance at Tetbury Goods Shed on Friday, March 8.
Well-travelled across the UK and playing up to 200 gigs each year, Harbottle & Jonas have managed to establish themselves as one of the most exciting prospects on the folk circuit.
The duo from Totnes, Devon, have received plaudits from folk icons including Seth and Geoff Lakeman, Jon Boden and Rod Clements and they have also played a gig with Martin Carthy.
The songs cover a range of social, political and historical issues.
Each song has been carefully written and researched and is accompanied with a good story and a degree of humour, covering eclectic topics from the Devil to Grimsby!
Their music is original and is performed on instruments that include the concertina, harmonium, banjo, stompbox, acoustic guitar and dobra.
Advance tickets £11.50 from shed-arts.co.uk
On the door tickets cost £13.
