TELEVISION presenter Judith Chalmers battled under the hammer against her son at Stroud Auction Rooms this week.
Judith, who is best known for presenting ITV travel programme Wish You Were Here, filmed Celebrity Antiques Road Trip alongside her son Mark Durden-Smith at Stroud Auction Rooms on Thursday.
The daytime show on BBC2 sees two celebrities paired with antiques experts to first of all buy items and then compete at auction to make the most money by sellilng them for their chosen charities.
The mother and son were paired with experts James Lewis and Paul Laidlaw, who helped them to buy items at car boot sales and antiques markets in the days before the auction.
The pairs then put their items under the hammer at the auction rooms in Bath Road Trading Estate, Stroud.
Stuart Maule, saleroom manager, said: "It was a really successful day and according to the show’s producers the items they picked to sell in Stroud made the most money in the series so far."
The programme featuring Judith and Mark is due to be broadcast on the BBC2 show sometime next year.
