SUSPECTED ecstasy and mephedrone was seized during a warrant in Sedbury yesterday (Tuesday August 6).

Officers working on Operation Rapier, an initiative cracking down on drugs crime and burglary in the Forest, carried out the search at a residential property in Saxon Place last night.

They discovered several syringes containing a liquid believed to be the class B drug MCAT and a bag of tablets believed to be the class A drug MDMA.

A 35-year-old woman from Sedbury was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled substances and bailed to attend Gloucester police station on October 11, pending further inquiries.
