SUPPORTERS of Nailsworth Youth Club completed a gruelling 104-mile walk to raise money for activities for youngsters in the town.

The group set off along the Cotswold Way on Thursday, July 25, and trekked for five days from Chipping Campden to Bath, raising £1,800 for the club.

Former mayor Cllr Steve Robinson, said: "I joined them for just one day and I suffered blisters to my feet and aches to most parts of my lower body.

"I must congratulate them for their fortitude and it is a great credit to them that they completed the walk in just five days."

The group included youth worker Tracy Young, neighbourhood wardens Pete Wilson, Chris Acock and Dominic Everiss, head of community safety at Stroud District Council Phil Sullivan and Andie Rumming.
