THE team at the White Hart pub in Winchcombe, along with local DJ, Will Pidsley, is organising a charity fundraising night and disco on Saturday 5th October to help raise money for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

Tickets are priced at £7.50 and proceeds from the evening will be donated to the service which airlifts critically ill people and those who have accidents in remote parts of Gloucestershire to the most appropriate hospital in the region.

DJ Will comments: “It’s set to be a really fun night and the White Hart are kindly putting on nibbles and will also give a share of the bar profits to the air ambulance so we’re hoping to raise over £750 for the cause.”

Susie Godwin, regional fundraising manager for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, adds: “We cover six counties across the Midlands and 11 per cent of our airlifts take place in Gloucestershire so it’s vital we raise awareness of and funding for our service in the county. The disco is great way for people to have a good night with the added bonus that they will help fundraise for our service.”
