WORLD superstar and football icon David Beckham caused a stir in Stroud at lunchtime when he was spotted at Dudbridge petrol station.
The former England captain and Manchester United legend was spotted by SNJ photographer Tom Wren at 12.30pm, opposite Sainsbury's supermarket.
"I spotted a striking Black Range Rover parked up at the petrol station forecourt, " said eagle-eyed Tom.
"To my surprise I noticed it was Becks at the wheel , so I spun around to get a snap shot, but he showed a turn of pace and whizzed-off.
"He didn't buy any petrol and seemed to be waiting for another car."
