Badger cull arrest - man, 30, charged with common assault
A 30-YEAR-OLD man from the Bristol area has now been charged with common assault.
The man has been charged with aggravated trespass and common assault and has been bailed to appear before Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Thursday, October 23.
The man’s arrest follows an incident at a farm in Bromsberrow Heath, Ledbury, on the Herefordshire-Gloucestershire border at about 10pm on Monday, September 22..
He was arrested by Gloucestershire police officers working under Operation Themis, the force's response to the badger cull.
