RESIDENTS of Thrupp attended a public exhibition showing proposals for the redevelopment of a site at Ham Mill.

The exhibition was held at Stroud Brewery, in Hope Mill Lane on Friday and Saturday, with more than 130 people attending.

Building specialist Fifth Capital London organised the exhibition.

In a leaflet, company director Marc Pennick said: “We understand the importance of this site and its heritage to Stroud. We are committed to working very closely with the local community, Stroud District Council, Thrupp Parish Council and local businesses, to ensure our plans respect the history and heritage of the site.”

The proposals include a mixed scheme of new homes and commercial units alongside amenity space, with the listed mill being retained.
