AN OPEN meeting is being held on Thursday to discuss a possible relaunch of the Stroud Pound.
Launched in 2009, the currency was introduced as an initiative to support the local economy by committing consumers to buy local produce, goods and services.
Organisers are considering a relaunch of the currency and will discuss how Stroud can learn from the success of the Bristol pound.
The meeting will be held at 10 Bowbridge Lane, Stroud, at 4.30pm.
