A FIESTA bringing together sausages and cider in Selsley raised more than £600 for a defibrillator at The Bell Inn.
The day, which was held on the village cricket grounds, was a huge success with tickets selling out. “We put on the event as a quirky village fete so that all the different community groups in Selsley had an excuse to get together,” said one of the organisers, Tristen Lusty.
Beard and Sabre from Cirencester provided the cider and LCJ Caterers from Randwick came armed with the hogroast.
Irish-folk band Blondes With Beards entertained the crowds while children ran amok on the bouncy castle or enjoyed the soft play area.
Selsley Cricket Club also held a silent auction.
Organisers hope to host another bigger, better festival again next year
